mood.camera 2.5.0

mood.camera is a photo application that aims to replicate the aesthetics of natural film photography directly on your iPhone. Through a specialized image processing pipeline, the app mimics the unique qualities of film, including authentic colors, realistic film grain, and subtle analog features.

Besides simulating the essence of film photography, mood.camera draws inspiration from the experience of using instant film cameras. By omitting live 'filter' previews and editing tools within the app, users are encouraged to concentrate on capturing genuine moments rather than constantly adjusting effects.

7-DAY FREE TRIAL
Please be aware that mood.camera is not a free application. New users can avail themselves of a 7-day unrestricted free trial. Following the trial period, the app can be used for free but with limitations in 'random' emulation mode. To access the complete version post-trial, users have the option to purchase a lifetime membership or subscribe monthly.

EXPRESSIVE COLOR EMULATION
Each of the 14 meticulously crafted color emulations enhances every photo with character and a vibrant color spectrum.

REALISTIC FILM GRAIN
The film grain algorithms, based on physical development processes, add texture and depth to photos while preserving detail.

ANALOG CHARACTER
Features like chromatic aberration, halation, and bloom introduce an added dimension to your images.

LESS TWEAKING, MORE SNAPPING
Similar to traditional film cameras, mood.camera eliminates live previews for selected films so that users can focus on capturing moments rather than toggling between filters. The suspense of revealing each processed photo post-capture adds a nostalgic touch.

INTUITIVE CONTROLS FOR CREATIVITY
mood.camera balances ease of use with creative options:

• Adjust grain and tone for each film emulation to match your style.
• Set default focal lengths for lenses for quick access to favorites.
• An on-screen exposure dial facilitates varied styles with under and overexposure.
• Select from multiple aspect ratios to suit different scenes.
• An optional grid & level indicator aids in composing shots confidently.

BUILT FOR PHOTOGRAPHERS
Developed with input from an active community of photographers, mood.camera has evolved over time based on feedback:
